How We Review
How we make recommendations
Stuff You Can Use publishes a disclosed first-party recommendation for Grow, a product we built. When this guide calls Grow our #1 recommendation, that is Stuff You Can Use's editorial opinion about the fit we believe Grow offers churches—not an independent or impartial ranking, a market survey, or a field-test result.
We keep two things separate. Publisher-documented facts—such as a product's stated age track, plan format, price note, and official source—are attributed to the publisher and dated. Our recommendation is our own editorial judgment. Publisher statements do not prove effectiveness, outcomes, or suitability for every church.
Reader ratings, comments, testimonials, marketplace scores, social sentiment, affiliate payout, and paid placement do not determine our #1 recommendation. We do not display reader ratings or aggregate scores in this release.
What the other listings mean
The Kids and Youth pages each lead with one disclosed #1 recommendation. The remaining options are listed alphabetically as products to investigate, not in performance order. We preserve documented strengths, limitations, price qualifiers, and official links so a church can decide whether another product better fits a specific need.
Limits and updates
We do not claim independent testing, universal outcomes, a complete market survey, or hands-on field testing where none occurred. We keep Kids and Youth evidence separate and do not transfer one product's features to the other. Product facts, availability, pricing, licensing, and bundle contents can change; verify the exact current edition and official terms before purchase. Material errors or stale evidence may result in a correction, dated limitation, or withdrawal while reviewed.
